H2B rocket launch success
宇宙航空研究開発機構（宇宙機構）と三菱重工業は９月１１日午前２時１分、国際宇宙ステーション（ＩＳＳ）に物資を補給する無人補給船「ＨＴＶ」を搭載した新型ロケット「Ｈ２Ｂ」初号機を種子島宇宙センター（南種子町）から打ち上げた。順調に飛行し、約１５分後にＨＴＶを分離、所定の軌道に投入し、打ち上げは成功した。宇宙機構の筑波宇宙センター（茨城県つくば市）の指令を受けながら、１８日午前にもＩＳＳにドッキングする。

H2B rocket launch success
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. launched the new type of rocket ‘H2B’ no.1 carrying ‘HTV’, an unmanned transfer vehicle whose role is to transport supplies to the International Space Station (ISS), from the Tanegashima Space Centre in Minamitane-cho at 2:01a.m. on September 11. The flight went smoothly and about 15 minutes later, the HTV was detached to be deployed into the prescheduled orbit, making the launch a success. The automatic carrying ship will dock the ISS under the command of JAXA’s Tsukuba Space Centre in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, as early as on the morning of the 18th of the same month.

The flight went smoothly and about 15 minutes later, the HTV was detached to be deployed into the prescheduled orbit, making the launch a success.

The ~ smoothly：飛行は順調にいった　　　the HTV ~ orbit：HTVは分離されて所定の軌道に投入された。detach は「・・・を分離する⇔attach」。Be deployed[put, injected] into an orbit は「・・・が軌道に投入される」。　　　making ~ success：（所定の軌道への投入によって）発射は成功した
