鹿児島県、退職金１５％減を提案

鹿児島県は、県職員の退職手当を約１５％引き下げる方針を固め、１１月９日、県地方公務員労働組合協議会（県公労）などに提案した。２０１１年度の教員や警察官を含む県職員の退職手当平均は２７１３万円。提案通り実施された場合、単純計算で約４００万円の引き下げとなる。
県公労の杉本英俊議長は「今でも鹿児島県の給与、退職手当は九州各県で最低。とても受け入れられる提案ではない」と話している。

Kagoshima Pref. poses 15% cut in staff retirement pay
Kagoshima Prefecture on November 9 proposed to its labour unions, including Kagoshima Prefectural Council of Local Public Service Employee’s Trade Unions, a policy that would lower the retirement allowances of its employees by about 15 percent. The average amount of the gratuity of the prefectural staff, which includes teachers and police officers, in 2011 was 27.13 million yen. Should the proposal be implemented as recommended, the reduction by simple arithmetic comes to some 4 million yen.
Mr. Sugimoto Hidetoshi, chairman of the local trade union, said the recommendation was just too much to be accepted as the salary and severance pay in Kagoshima Prefecture was already at the lowest level among the prefectures in the Kyushu region.
