鹿児島市吉野町の磯海水浴場は７月１０日、海開きした。あいにくの曇り空だったが、児童らは海に向かって全力疾走。水を掛け合ったり潜ったりして楽しんだ。
９月２日まで。午前１０時～午後６時。海開き期間中は、市周遊バス「カゴシマシティビュー」が磯海水浴場前に臨時停車する。「城山・磯コース」、「ウォーターフロントコース」の２路線計２５便。運賃は大人１８０円、子ども９０円。

Iso beach in Yoshino-cho, Kagoshima City opened to public on July 10. Although the sky was cloudy, children ran out to the sea and enjoyed splashing water at each other or diving in the sea.
The beach will be open until September 2 between 10 am and 6 pm. During the season, the city-run sightseeing buses, "Kagoshima City-view," stop at a temporary bus stop in front of the beach. The tourist coaches are operated 25 times a day along two routes—“Shiroyama-Iso course," and "Waterfront course". The fares are 180 yen for adults and 90 yen for children.
