「六月燈の三姉妹」が映画化

六月灯をテーマにした喜劇で、５月に鹿児島市や東京などで上演された「六月燈の三姉妹」が映画化される。出演した同市出身の俳優、西田聖志郎さん（５６）が企画した。来年夏、同市を中心にロケを行い、１３年５月公開を目指す。西田さんは「鹿児島独特の夏祭りを、全国に発信したい」と意気込んでいる。
舞台には鹿児島ゆかりの俳優らが出演しており、映画でも鹿児島県出身者や関係者らに出演を交渉するという。

Rokugatsudo to hit silver screen
A comedy drama about the local summer festival, “Rokugatsudo no Sanshimai (Three sisters in Rokugatsudo),” which had been performed at several places, including Kagoshima City and Tokyo in May, will be made into a movie. The project was designed by an actor from Kagoshima City, Mr. Nishida Seishiro (56), who also performed in the play. They will conduct the shooting next summer mainly in Kagoshima city, and they aim to release the film in May 2013. Nishida said: “I’d like to introduce Kagoshima’s unique summer festival to the rest of the country.”
The drama featured some actors who were associated with Kagoshima; and they will also contact actors from Kagoshima, or those related to Kaogshima, to perform in the movie.
