サクラ島大学開講

校舎を持たず県内全域をキャンパスとし、地域住民らが講師を務める「サクラ島大学」が７月３１日開校し、鹿児島市春日町の県民教育文化研究所で初めての“授業”があった。月１回、講義や課外授業を行い、地域密着型の生涯学習を進める。
８月２８日には南九州市川辺で課外授業がある。今後の授業はホームページ＜http://sakura-univnet.blogspot.com/＞で参照できる。

“Sakurajima University” opens
“Sakurajima University”, which does not have stationary facilities but offer lectures at every part of the prefecture, with the local residents being lecturers, opened on July 31 with a class held at Kagoshima Prefectural Citizens Research Institute for Education and Culture in Kasuga-cho, Kagoshima City. They will hold lectures or outdoor classes monthly thereby promote community-based lifelong learning.
There will be an outdoor class in Kawanabe, Minamikyushu City on August 28. Future class schedule is referable at http://sakura-univnet.blogspot.com/.
