鹿児島県教育委員会は３月２３日、２０１１年度の人事異動（４月１日付）を発表した。異動規模は２８２９人（前年度比１４６人減）。県教委は、１１年度から離島や地方への異動を推進する方針を示しており、小中学校教職員の大隅、県北ブロックへの異動は、計１９７人と、前年度比６７人増となった。
小中学校職員の離島への異動は６２５人（前年度比２５人減）だった。
新規採用教職員３２７人の配置は、２９日に発表される。

Kagoshima Prefectural Board of Education on March 23 announced a series of personnel reshuffles for the fiscal year 2011 as of April 1. The number of personnel to be transferred is 2,829, which is a decrease of 146 compared with the previous fiscal year. In line with its policy, since fiscal year 2011, of promoting transfers to rural areas including remote islands, a total of 197 teachers at elementary and junior high schools will be shifted to Osumi or to northern areas, which is an increase of 67 from the previous year.
Meanwhile, the number of school members at elementary and junior high schools to be relocated to remote islands is 625, 25 less than the year earlier.
The placement of 327 newly hired teachers will be announced on the 29th of this month.
