「航空１００周年」鹿児島空港で記念イベント
「航空１００周年記念イベント イン 鹿児島空港」が１２月１８日と１９日、霧島市の鹿児島空港であった。親子連れなどがイベントなどを楽しんだ。
熊本県人吉市出身の日野熊蔵大尉らが、国内初の動力機による公開飛行を東京で成功させて１９日で１００年になるのを記念して開催した。
初日あった全日空の航空教室には２０人が参加。滑走路そばで航空機の離着陸の様子を見学したり、記念撮影する姿がみられた。

100th year marked for nation’s first propeller plane
“Aircraft’s 100th Anniversary Event in Kagoshima Airport” took place at Kagoshima Airport in Kirishima City on December 18 and 19 drawing many people including children and their parents who enjoyed various attractions.
The event was held commemorating the 100th anniversary of the nation’s first successful flight of a power-generated aircraft in public on the 19th by a group of people including Lieutenant Hino Kumazou from Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture.
Twenty people participated in the aviation class that was held on the first day where they observed the aircrafts taking off and landing from near the runway and took commemorative photos.
