ＴＰＰ参加で鹿児島県は大打撃！？
鹿児島県は１１月８日、日本が環太平洋連携協定（ＴＰＰ）に参加し関税が撤廃された場合、県内農業は生産額１８１３億円の損失に見舞われるとの試算を発表した。
農林水産省が試算した１９品目中、県内で影響が大きい９品目について、同省の算定に基づき試算した。
損失額は２００８年度県内農業生産額（４１５１億円）の４割相当。関連産業や地域経済への影響を合わせると、推定損失額は５６６７億円に上るとみている。

Kagoshima Prefecture released its estimate on November 8 that its agriculture would suffer a loss of 181,300,000,000 yen in production value if Japan joins the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP) under which tariffs will be eliminated.
The prefecture has conducted a trial calculation on nine products that have a considerable impact for the prefecture based on estimates by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, and for which 19 items had been listed.
The amount of the estimated loss is equivalent to around 40% of the prefecture’s gross agricultural production in 2008 (415,100,000,000 yen.) When factoring in the estimated impact on related industries and local economies, the amount is expected to be 566,700,000,000 yen.
