秋の「よりみちクルーズ」開始 桜島フェリー
鹿児島市は１０月１３日、桜島フェリーの秋の「よりみちクルーズ」を始めた。天候には恵まれなかったものの、お年寄りを中心に３０７人が乗船した。
桜島は雲に覆われほとんど望むことができなかったが、乗客は４５分間の航海中、神瀬や沖小島、大正溶岩と次々に移り変わる景観を満喫した。
同日はクルーズの付加価値を高める試みとして、桜島港到着に合わせ鹿児島まち歩き観光ステーションがボランティアガイドによる「桜島ぶらりまち歩き」も実施した。

Autumn cruise starts in Kinko Bay
Kagoshima City started “Yorimichi Cruise” in autumn by Sakurajima Ferry on October 13. Despite the bad weather, 307 people—mainly the elderly— took the cruise.
Although Mt. Sakurajima had been rarely seen among clouds, people enjoyed watching various views of the natural landscape such as Kanze shallow, Okogajima Island, and Taisho Lava during the 45-min-long cruise.
On the same day, in an attempt to add value to the bay cruise, the city’s Kagoshima Machi-aruki (town-walking) Tourism Station offered them a tour by volunteer guides from Sakurajima Port.
