出水は鶴だけじゃない！？
さつま出水青年会議所（岩崎憲二理事長）は１０月３１日、初の「出水観光検定」を行う。九州新幹線全線開業を控え、出水市の魅力を内外により広く発信しようと企画した。検定用テキストも作成し受検希望者を募っている。
所定の申込書に必要事項を記入し、９月３０日までに直接持参かファクスなどで申し込む。先着２００人で受検料２０００円（テキスト代、税込み）。

Satsuma Izumi Junior Chamber (Chairman: Mr. Iwasaki Kenji) will hold its first “Izumi Tourism Certificate” on October 31. It has planned the exam to promote the charms of Izumi City both inside and outside the city before the Kyushu Shinkansen bullet train will be in full service between Hakata and Kagoshima Chuo stations; and it has made a textbook and is accepting applications for the test.
Applicants are required to fill out the designated form and register by carrying it to the office directly, by sending a Fax, or by using some other method of communication. It will accept the first 200 applicants; and the test fee, which includes the cost of the textbook and tax, is 2,000 yen.
Iwasaki said he was proud that the exam covered all aspects of Izumi. He hoped both the local residents and visitors would experience love for the city—famed for its wintering ground for cranes-- through the exam.
