鹿児島県内のビーチ：すべてＡ値
鹿児島県は６月１１日、県内２６カ所の海水浴場の水質調査結果を発表した。すべての海水浴場が遊泳に適しており、特に良好な水質（ＡＡ）が２３カ所、良好な水質（Ａ）が３カ所。２００１年度からの調査で初めてすべての海水浴場でＡ以上を記録した。
調査対象は１万人以上の利用が見込まれる海水浴場。４月中旬から５月下旬にかけてふん便性大腸菌群数、油膜の有無、透明度などを調査した。腸管出血性大腸菌Ｏ１５７はすべての海水浴場で検出されなかった。（Source:373news.com 2010.6.8）

Kagoshima’s beaches: all “A”
Kagoshima Prefecture on June 11 disclosed the results of a water quality survey on 26 bathing beaches throughout the prefecture. According to the report, 23 beaches were assessed “AA”, indicating especially good condition, while the other three were given “A”, or good condition. It was the first time since they began the survey in 2001 that all beaches were evaluated as “A” or more.
The survey was conducted on beaches with expected visitors of more than 10,000. Researchers studied the stool-derived coliform bacteria count, the existence of oil slick, and transparency among other things from mid-April to late May. Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O157 was not detected at any beaches.
