新社会人が新たな一歩
　新年度がスタートした４月１日、鹿児島県内の官公庁や企業では入庁式や入社式が行われ、新社会人たちが人生の新たな一歩を踏み出した。
　鹿児島市の県庁では、新規職員６８人に辞令交付。式典では伊藤祐一郎知事が「県庁マンとして歩むことを胸に刻み、鹿児島の将来に自信を持ってほしい」と激励し、新規職員を代表して、かごしまＰＲ課に配属された中迫恵利香さん（２２）が「誠実かつ公正に職務を実行する」と宣誓した。

Get off to fresh start
On April 1, entrance ceremonies were held at public offices and companies throughout Kagoshima prefecture to mark the start of the new fiscal year; during the ceremonies employees took new steps in their lives.
At the prefectural hall, 68 new staff members received official approval of their enrolment. In his address the prefectural governor, Mr. Ito Yuichiro, urged the freshmen to be aware of their responsibilities as prefectural workers and be confident of the future of Kagoshima. In response, Ms. Nakasako Erika (22), who has been assigned to the Kagoshima PR section, swore an oath on behalf of the rookies that they would execute their duties in a faithful and fair manner.

今年は昨年に比べて桜の開花が遅く、鹿児島市内は入学式の時期に桜の見頃が重なったのではないでしょうか。鹿児島外語学院（GAiGO）は４月１０日（土）からいよいよ新年度が始まります。春休み中も学生は海外研修や通訳ガイド実地研修などで動き回っていましたが、改めて学校で会うのが楽しみです。
