九州新幹線 鹿児島中央－博多つながる

九州新幹線 鹿児島中央－博多つながる
九州新幹線鹿児島ルート博多－新八代のレール敷設が３月２２日完了し、鹿児島中央－博多の全２５７キロが、１本のレールでつながった。
熊本市の熊本駅構内で同日、レール締結式があり、建設関係者やＪＲ九州、沿線自治体の首長ら、約１６０人が敷設を祝った。
来年３月の全線開業へ向け、準備は最終段階に入る。

Kagoshima-Hakata Shinkansen line completed
Construction of the Kyushu Shinkansen Line Kagoshima route between Hakata and Yatsushiro was completed on March 22, connecting the entire 257-kilometre route between Kagoshima Chuo and Hakata.
On the same day, a commemoration ceremony was held at Kumamoto Station in Kumamoto City where a total of around 160 people--comprised of construction companies' and JR Kyushu's officials, as well as mayors of municipalities along the railway--celebrated the completion of the express line.
Preparation will enter the final phase ahead of the line opening next March.
