子ども版「かごしま検定」
　鹿児島の自然や歴史の知識を問う「かごしまジュニア検定」が２月１５日から、鹿児島県内の小中学校３９２校で実施されている。
　同検定は、鹿児島の良さを知り、郷土愛を持つ子どもを育てようと鹿児島商工会議所が実施。３択式の２０問で、１５問以上の正解で合格証がもらえる。
　２月末までに小学５・６年生と中学１・２年生１万７４４９人が受験する予定。

Kagoshima kids master
“Kagoshima Junior Certification,” in which examinees are tested on their knowledge of nature and the history of Kagoshima, has been carried out at 392 elementary and junior high schools throughout the prefecture since February 15.
The certification test is conducted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kagoshima with the aim of encouraging children to learn about Kagoshima's charms, and thereby cultivate among them a sense of attachment to their hometown. The test consists of 20 questions with each having three answer choices. Those who give 15 or more correct answers are given the certification.
A total of 17,449 students comprised of fifth and sixth graders from elementary schools, and first and second graders from junior high schools will sit for the test by the end of February.
