大学センター試験
大学入試センター試験が１月１６、１７日、鹿児島市の鹿児島大学など鹿児島県内１４会場を含む全国７２５会場で実施された。受験生は緊張した面持ちで志望大への第一関門に挑戦した。
　全国の志願者は５５万３３６８人、県内受験者は７６１２人。鹿大の郡元キャンパスでは新型インフルエンザ対策で例年よりマスク姿が目立った。

The National Centre Test for University Admissions took place at 725 venues throughout the nation on January 16 and 17. In Kagoshima Prefecture, strained-looking examinees met the first hurdle for the universities of their choice at 14 places, including Kagoshima University in Kagoshima City.
A total of 553,368 applicants nationwide sat for the standardized test, including 7,612 in the prefecture. More people were seen wearing masks at Kagoshima University’s Korimoto Campus than in past years in an effort to prevent the new flu.
