火山ヨットレースが映画化決定
火山ヨットレースを題材にした映画「海の金魚」の制作が決まった。７月中旬に撮影が始まる。錦江湾横断遠泳に挑む小学生らを描き、昨年公開された「チェスト！」に続く“鹿児島３部作”の第２弾で、主演は鹿児島市出身の女優、入来茉里さん（１８）が務める。プロデューサーの坂上也寸志さんは、「（鹿児島には）撮りたい素材もたくさんある。鹿児島を発信していきたい」と意気込みを語った。来春公開の予定。

Yacht race to sail onto the silver screen
Production has been confirmed for “Umi no Kingyo” (Goldfish in the Sea), a film that features the annual “Kazan-meguri Yacht Race” (Yacht Race Around Volcanoes), and filming is slated to start in mid-July. The movie will be the second work in the “Kagoshima Trilogy” following on the heels of “Chesto!”, a film released last year that portrayed elementary school students who were faced with a challenging long distance swim across Kinko Bay. The new movie will star Iriki Mari (18), a local Kagoshima City-born actress. Sakagami Yasushi, the film’s producer, said that he would like to convey the fascination of Kagoshima nationwide since there is such a wealth of material in Kagoshima that he would like to capture. The film will be released next spring.

‘star’ は「・・・を主演させる（feature）」。‘a … actress’ は「地元鹿児島市出身の女優」。

タイトルの “Yacht race to sail onto the silver screen"　は「ヨットレースが銀幕に漕ぎ出す」。

「火山めぐりヨットレース」には、鹿児島外語学院（GAiGO）が所有するヨット『GAiGO』も第1回からほぼ毎回出場しています。でもまだ映画への出演依頼は来てません。。。
