流鏑馬 勇壮に 仙巌園で初／鹿児島市

鹿児島市の仙巌園で３月４日、鎌倉武芸の流鏑馬（やぶさめ）が初めて行われた。
弓馬術礼法小笠原流（総家本部・東京都）の射手１７人が参加。園内に設けられた約１６０メートルの馬場を勢いよく駆け抜け、掛け声を出しながら２カ所の的を狙った。射手の放つ矢が的に当たる度、多くの見物客から歓声と拍手が起こった。

Galloping back through history
A horseback archery of the Kamakura period,Yabusame, was held for the first time at Senganen Japanese Garden in Kagoshima City on March 4.
Seventeen archers of the Kyuba-jutsu Reiho Ogasawara-ryu school (HQ: Tokyo) took part in the event. The horseback shooters fired off arrows at two targets with loud encouraging voices while galloping through the 160-metre track in the garden. A throng of spectators erupted into cheers and applause as the archers successfully hit the targets.
